Physical Therapy @ Oakdale is an organization dedicated to becoming a widely recognized provider of high quality outpatient physical therapy services to the local community and beyond. In addition to the provision of general physical therapy services, PT @ Oakdale shall provide specialized treatment to athletes with sports injuries as well as supervised fitness programs for clients interested in exercising despite concomitant chronic diseases or disabilities. PT @ Oakdale is also committed to meeting the continual educational needs of physical therapists and future physical therapists. Therefore, the organization will host professional meetings and maintain affiliations with accredited physical therapy programs. All activities of PT @ Oakdale shall reflect a recognition of basic dignity and rights of all employees, clients, students, referral sources, and community members.

Physical Therapy @ Oakdale is situated within the Court Jester Athletic Club, the premier health club in the region. By virtue of having access to over 35,000 square feet of space, including a 25-yard lap pool, racquetball and squash courts, indoor basketball court, indoor track, aerobics room, weight room, cardio room, whirlpools, saunas, tanning center and locker rooms, this clinic is the first and only one of its kind in the region. After working at Lourdes Hospital Rehab for five and a half years, John Koniuto, MSPT, has been the owner and director of this private practice outpatient clinic since October 2000. His vision has been to establish a niche specialty of general, sports and orthopedic physical therapy consistent with a wellness-based design. Mr. Koniuto is a Certified Weight Trainer, Certified Strength Training Specialist, and is experienced as an Athletic Trainer.

Physical Therapy @ Oakdale is available to everyone, not just Court Jester Athletic Club members. Active clients of PT @ Oakdale have full privileges to the entire health club only on the days of their PT appointments, and only under the supervision and discretion of their therapist. Active clients are also eligible to purchase monthly CJAC memberships at a discounted rate, in order to utilize the facility on their non-PT days. Once discharged from PT, a client may negotiate with the CJAC staff to find their best membership options. The CJAC expanded their weight training and cardio rooms, and added a tanning center.

Weekday office hours for Physical Therapy are 7:30am - 5:00pm. Exclusive parking is available in the rear of the Court Jester Athletic Club building with convenient access to our private entrance. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. In order to receive an appointment for an Evaluation, a prescription from a physician (podiatrist, orthopod, osteopath,etc), nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or dentist is required. In addition, if you have HMO insurance, workers comp claim, or no fault claim, then a referral, which verifies authorization of PT services is also required. Most insurance plans are accepted. Free screenings are also available by appointment if you have a problem for which you are uncertain that physical therapy is warranted.
